also early this year.  The Pentagon put one of my songs on one of their websites as a result.  I got some very nice letters from American servicemen and their families - who seemed to appreciate the song.  the letters were all impossibly moving - some from soldiers young enough to be my grandson.  there is more information about the song and how it came to be written on the Songnotes section, and the full lyrics are on the lyrics page.
